Privacy Policy & Data Collection — Shrinathji Nitya Niyam Path
1.Introduction
Welcome to the Shrinathji Nitya Niyam Path App, developed and published by Jignesh Madalia. This privacy policy outlines how we handle data within our devotional application built for the Pushtimarg Vaishnav community.
2.Data We Do Not Collect
We do not require you to create an account. We do not collect, store, or transmit any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise GPS location to our servers.
3.Local Data Processing (Bhakti Journey & Streaks)
To provide a personalized spiritual gamification experience (Bhakti Journey), the app tracks your reading streaks, Daily Seva progress, and Experience Points (XP). This data is stored 100% locally on your device using secure local storage (SharedPreferences). We have no access to this data. Clearing the app's cache or uninstalling it will permanently delete this progress.
4.Global Maha-Mala (Anonymous Syncing)
Our "Digital Mala" feature allows users to contribute to a Global Maha-Mala count. When you complete a Mala (108 chants), an anonymous network request is sent to our Firebase database solely to increment the global counter. No device ID, IP address, or user identity is attached to this increment request.
5.Third-Party Services & Network Calls
To provide specific features, our app connects to the following trusted third-party services:
YouTube IFrame API
Audio recitations of certain Stotras are embedded directly via YouTube. Playing these audios is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Google AdMob & Firebase
We use Firebase Remote Config to manage app settings without requiring updates, and Google AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Apple IDFA or Android Advertising ID) and crash logs to serve relevant ads.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On Apple devices, we explicitly request permission before tracking your data for personalized ads. You can opt-out at any time via device settings.
