Privacy Policy

1. Local On-Device Storage (No Developer Cloud)

All business profiles, customer ledgers, line items, pricing catalogs, tax identifiers (e.g. GSTIN, VAT ID, EIN), signatures, and generated PDF receipts are stored strictly inside an encrypted local SQLite database (probill_sqlite_v3.db) on your physical Android or iOS device.

We do not maintain developer-hosted servers or cloud databases capable of accessing, synchronizing, or viewing your commercial documents.

2. Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) Backup & Sync

If you choose to enable cloud backups, you connect directly to your personal or enterprise cloud accounts:

• Google Drive: Authenticates directly with Google OAuth 2.0 to write encrypted database snapshots to your private /ProBill_Backups/ folder.
• Apple iCloud: Stores snapshots in your native iCloud Documents container (iCloud.com.jinimedia.probillInvoiceEstimate) associated with your Apple ID.
• Dropbox & Microsoft OneDrive: Connects via user-authorized PKCE OAuth tokens to your own storage.

ProBill never intercepts or routes these backups through third-party relays.

3. Advertising & Analytics (Free Tier)

For free-tier users, the application integrates Google AdMob to display adaptive banner ads, capped interstitials, and rewarded video ads.

AdMob may collect anonymized device identifiers (e.g. Google Advertising ID / IDFA), IP addresses, and diagnostic crash analytics in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. In the EEA and UK, consent is managed via the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK.

💎 Pro Subscribers: Subscribing to Pro completely detaches the Google Mobile Ads SDK, resulting in 100% ad suppression and zero ad network telemetry.

4. Hardware Permissions & Device Rationales

• Bluetooth (ESC/POS Printing): Used exclusively to discover and print receipt layouts to 58mm & 80mm wireless thermal printers.
• Camera & Photos: Used only when you choose to attach job site photos or import your company logo.
• Notifications: Used for optional on-device local reminders (e.g. Afternoon Invoicing at 2:00 PM and Evening Reconciliation at 7:30 PM). No remote push notifications are broadcasted.

5. 1-Tap Data Purge & Account Deletion

In strict compliance with Apple App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1(v) and GDPR:

You can immediately and irreversibly delete all stored business records, client profiles, item catalogs, and database tables at any time by navigating to Settings ➔ Delete Account & Erase All Data. This permanently destroys the local SQLite database from your hardware.
